South Africa is emerging as a big player in the global film business

In 2016 to 2017 South Africa’s film industry contributed R5.4 billion (approximately $464 million) to the country’s GDP, according to a report commissioned by the country’s National Film and Video Foundation.

Film studios like Cape Town Film Studios (CTFS) are giving more expensive studios in Hollywood a run for their money by executing a simple game plan: offering world-class facilities.
